Frequently Asked Questions
There are a range reasons why so many people choose to import vehicles from Japan. Condition and quality of the vehicles tend to be far greater than your average car in the UK. Its not uncommon to see cars 10 years old+ that have only covered 6,000 miles per year.
Infrastructure such as Motorways and A roads are to a much higher standard, which over time causes less stress on vital components. Japan do not salt their roads in the winter, which prevents dreaded rust!
Vehicle maintenance is much more comprehensive. The MOT equivalent called ‘Shaken’ is much more extensive and can often see repair bills of up to 100,000 Japanese Yen. (£700)
Japan is also a great source of rare cars that you will not find anywhere else in the world.
